Though in the process of breeding, Mastiff puppies pass through the stage when they are stubborn as donkeys, and this stage may continue for several weeks and repeat in adolescence age.
You should spend from 10 to 15 minutes training with your dog for at least 2-3 times a day. In addition to their stubbornness Mastiffs are extremely sensitive natures and if they are frightened, offended or embarrassed with something, they are impossible to get of the ground. You should devote more time to your dog, play more with him. Use your cheerful voice to impel your dog to play. You should be consistent and firm while training your puppy. When you achieve certain results, don’t forget to repeat the exercises.
While training don’t forget about dainties, this may be a good stimulus for development and secure needed skills. For this breed however the best award will be hugs and praises.
