Do you know how to treat properly your dog’s leather muzzle?
Cleaning
A muzzle made for your pet needs a special treatment like all
leather products. Dog experts insistently recommend to make a
mechanical cleaning of a leather muzzle from dust, mud, saliva,
grass, seeds, sand etc. after every walking or training. Remember!
A
dirty muzzle can be a source of infection!
Drying
After being cleaned with a brush or washed in a warm clean running
water a muzzle must be dried with a rag. It’s not recommended to
dry
a muzzle by an open fire, on the radiators, with the heating
devices. An intensive impact of heat can cause unfavourable
effects
to the leather of which it’s made.
Storing
Keep your pet’s leather muzzle in a warm dry place having put it
into a special bag made of a natural cloth such as cotton or
flax.
Speсial agents for leather
treatment
It’s also recommended to treat a leather muzzle with special
leather
conditioner and water repellent once a month. Be advised! Make
sure
that it doesn't contain any toxic substances that could cause
allergy or skin irritation of your dog!
We hope that following these recommendations will considerably
prolongate the period of use of the muzzle bought for your pet!
